The series “Arka Sokaklar” (Back Streets) will return to screens in the fall. The show will come back for a new season on Kanal D, airing on its regular day and time, with the same cast. It is worth noting that the series has been running on the channel for 17 years and took a break last year due to health issues of the show’s producer. From now on, the production of the series will be handled by the Kanal D team. Producer Türker İnanoğlu transferred the rights to the series for free. The series will be directed once again by Orhan Oğuz, with the screenplay written by Ozan Yurdakul. Zafir Ergin, Özgür Ozan, İlker İnanoğlu, and Ozan Çobanoğlu will return to the cast, but Oya Okar, who portrayed Commissioner Selin, has left the series. The filming of the new season, starting from episode 639, is planned to begin in August.
