New TV series by Ay Yapım for the years 2023/24

Great news for fans of Turkish series. Ay Yapım will introduce four new TV shows featuring leading Turkish stars in the upcoming television season. What do we know about them right now?

Turkish production companies continue their preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 television season. According to the information from renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Ay Yapım, the television company of producer Kerem Çatay, known for legendary series such as “Forbidden Love,” “What is Fatmagül’s Crime?,” “Insider,” “Endless Love,” “Çukur,” and many others, is developing several new shows simultaneously.

The series “Second Life / Üvey Hayat” written by Banu Kiremitçi Bozkurt will tell the story of two strong women. Devrim Özkan will portray the character Fidan. The identity of the actress playing the second lead role is currently unknown.

The series “My Wonderful Life / Şahane Hayatım,” written by Meriç Acemi, known for previous works in series like “Love for Rent,” “The Daydreamer,” and “Love 101.”

The series “Ruthless / Gaddar,” written by Hürriyet Ebeoğlu, with Aras Bulut İynemli in the leading role. The show will be directed by Sinan Öztürk, who previously collaborated with the actor in the series “Çukur.”

The series “Storm / Fırtına,” written by Ahmet Katıksız and Hürriyet Ebeoğlu, is an adaptation of the Arabic series “Al Hayba,” depicting the rivalry between mafia clans.

The ongoing series “Family” and “The Trial” will continue airing. If the summer series “If You Love A Lot / Ya Çok Seversen” proves successful, it may extend into the main season. Hilal Altınbilek will play the lead role in one of the new shows.
