Turkish director sentenced to 10 years

Turkish director Metin U. has been found guilty of molesting a minor girl, Gülşah S., who worked in his project, and sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment.

The young actress wanted to receive acting lessons from a professional, who tried to take advantage of her. The girl escaped from him and immediately informed her family, who filed a complaint with the prosecutor’s office. The judge did not believe the explanations that it was just a “breathing exercise” and sentenced him to a substantial prison term.
