Great news for fans of Halil İbrahim Ceyhan! The actor is making a comeback on Turkish screens in a new prime-time series, and he will also be starring in a movie scheduled to start filming next summer. What do we know about the film so far?

Halil İbrahim Ceyhan, who is set to appear in a new series on Fox TV and Medyapım titled “Kirli Sepeti” (Laundry Basket), has signed a contract with Aytaç Media for his first film project.

The actor, who recently wrapped up his work on the daytime series “Emanet” (Legacy) and is soon to begin filming his first prime-time series, will also star in a movie titled “Benim Adım Çocuk” (My Name is Child) in June 2024, directed by Alper Mestçi. The screenplay is written by Ömer Gezgü and Alper Mestçi.

The lead female role has yet to be announced, however, as noted by renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the producers have offered Halil İbrahim the opportunity to choose his own co-star. The story centers around special forces operative Aras Demirkanlı, who takes on the mafia in a bid to save his daughter. The film will be released simultaneously in Turkey, Europe, the Arabian Peninsula, and many other countries.
