Great news for Furkan Andıç and Buse Meral fans! The actors will star in a new film that is being prepared with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Turkey. What do we know about the movie right now?

According to the well-known journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Furkan Andıç and Buse Meral will share the lead roles in the new film “The Witch / Cadı,” which is an adaptation of the famous novel by Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar. It tells the story of how easily people can fall into the trap of absurd superstitions and become victims of charlatans.

The movie is the debut feature film of director Erman Boztan and is being made with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey. At the center of the plot is the story of a young woman, Fikriye (Buse Meral ), who marries a widower, Naşit Nefi Efendi (Furkan Andıç). The young woman believes that the ghost of her husband’s late wife is haunting her, but in the end, it is revealed that she has become the victim of a cruel prank. Filming for the movie began in the first week of September in Istanbul.
