Ratings of Turkish TV

The ratings for Saturday brought Turkish viewers the return of one of Turkey’s most beloved series, “Gönül Dağı,” which started very strong and immediately asserted itself as the leader of the upcoming autumn season. Whether the hopes of TRT1 channel’s management will be justified this time will depend on the subsequent dynamics, but the premiere results of the fourth season definitely inspire optimism.

The series “Kardeşlerim” returned to the airwaves with quite decent overall ratings, but in the AB demographic, it seems that viewers may have tired a bit of the youth-oriented story, as the numbers don’t appear too impressive. However, it’s entirely possible that the audience will return a bit later.

The series “Ya Çok Seversen” lost 0.36% in total ratings but grew by 0.11% in the AB demographic. It seems that the appearance of strong competitors in the time slot did not significantly affect the show’s ratings. Thanks to good international sales, it is quite likely to stay on the air for some time.

The series “Ruhun Duymaz” lost 1.13% in total ratings and 0.64% in the AB demographic. It appears that the change in the airing day and the emergence of competitors in the main season have had a highly negative impact on the show, indicating that we will likely hear about its finale in the near future.
