Successful actress and screenwriter Güpse Özay, whose every project attracts millions of viewers, has announced her new film. Güpse has also revealed the title of her new film for the first time: “Young Mother / LOHUSA.”

Turkish cinema’s successful comedy actress Güpse Özay has started working on her long-awaited new film “Young Mother / LOHUSA,” which will explore the first 40 days of life after childbirth through the lens of parents, themselves, and their friends. Having become a mother a year ago, Özay will bring to the big screen all the challenges that a young family faces in her characteristic humorous style. Every family that has gone through the same experience will be able to see themselves in it. After a long process of working on the script, Özay will step onto the set in the first days of October.

Casting for the film is still ongoing. The script is written by Güpse Özay, directed by Kıvanç Baruonu, and produced by Muzaffer Yıldırım. Güpse Özay shared with her followers on social media that she plans to cut her hair due to her role in the film.

Güpse Özay’s new film “Young Mother / LOHUSA” is set to be released in theaters in 2024 under the banner of NuLook Production.
