Stars Are Far From Me

Gürkan Uygun and İnanç Konukçu have joined the cast of the upcoming Turkish drama series “Stars Are Far From Me” (Yıldızlar Bana Uzak), starring Burcu Kıratlı and Furkan Andıç. The series is being produced by O3 Medya and Ortaks Yapım for ATV.

The series is written by Ercan Uğur, who also wrote the script for the final season of the series “Behzat Ç.” – “Hammer and Rose: The Story of Behzat Ç.”. The series will be directed by Bahadır İnce.

The series tells the story of love between Rüzgar and Güneş, who are caught up in a web of revenge and retribution. In the series, Gürkan Uygun will play the role of Yahya Aldemir,  who is determined to get revenge on those who have wronged him.  İnanç Konukçu will play the role of Murat, Rüzgar’s close friend who dreams of marrying his childhood sweetheart Güneş.
