Onur Seyit Yaran will play a man obsessed with love
Preparations for the new OGM Pictures series “Obsession” for Star TV are underway. The series, whose script has been significantly updated and revised, is one of the most anticipated shows of Star TV in the new season.
The series, directed by Tarkan Derya and written by Aybike Ertürk, will tell the love story of Sabah, who grew up with her sister Çisil in a stifling atmosphere due to her despotic father Önder, and fell in love with Babür.
Businessman Babür is in a difficult situation. His father taught him from childhood that family should come first. After marrying Simin, he did everything to make sure his wife and daughter didn’t want for anything. However, Sabah, Babür’s first love, unexpectedly entered his life. It turned out that his feelings for Sabah had not faded over the years. Despite all his obligations and upbringing, the protagonist became literally obsessed with his childhood love. His life began to crumble rapidly.
Nilsu Berfin Aktaş has been cast as Sabah, and negotiations are underway with Onur Seyit Yaran for the role of Babür. The name of actor Erkan Petekkaya is mentioned in one of the key roles in the series, Önder. If he agrees to this role, he will again leave his mark on the screen as a father. Young actress Meltem Akçöl will play Babur’s wife, Simin, in the series. Hülya Darcan, who is very selective about her projects, will play Önder’s mother. The role of Sabah’s sister, Çisil, will be played by Nazlı Çetin, who last appeared on the screen in the series “Tropics”.
