Shooting of the crime romantic comedy “Shine” directed by Maria Agranovich has begun in St. Petersburg. The series also stars Kirill Kyaro, Ivan Batarev, Alexander Mizev, Alexey Agranovich, Alena Babenko, Arthur Bespaly and video blogger Yulia Gavrilina.

Alexandra Bortich played the lead role in the series. According to the plot, her character, Anna, works as an assistant in an expensive event agency. Once she meets a Turkish man named Serkan, who introduces himself as a descendant of the Sultan. Anna decides to steal a precious necklace from him, but soon realizes that Serkan is a fraudster.

Together, they decide to team up and start their own business to deceive wealthy people. In this, they are helped by Anna’s father, who is also a fraudster.

Maria Trubnikova is the showrunner of the series. “Our main characters are good guys, in general, they just make money on the weaknesses of others. And those others, in turn, also lie to someone … We hope that with such a strong cast, we will have an attractive and funny story, and that the audience will love our characters as much as we love them,” says Maria.

The series will be released on the IVI online platform. The producers do not reveal who will play the Turkish handsome Serkan, promising a surprise for the audience.
