Ratings of Turkish TV

The Thursday ratings delivered Turkish viewers an extra episode of the popular series “Golden Boy” (Yalı Çapkını) which performed quite commendably despite not airing on its usual day. It experienced a 0.45% decrease in total ratings but rose by 1.15% in AB. Despite criticisms of the script, the show remains one of the most sought-after Turkish series for the second consecutive season, marking a significant achievement for the team.

The series “Boundless Love” (Hudutsuz Sevda) lost 0.09% in total ratings but increased by 0.41% in AB. While the show may not become a massive hit, it has certainly found its audience, minimizing the risk of being taken off the air due to ratings, which is quite commendable in today’s television landscape.

The series “Betrayal” (Aldatmak) experienced a 0.14% decrease in total ratings but grew by 0.63% in AB. Producer Timur Savcı’s show holds up quite well and is likely to stay on air for the entire season, although it may not achieve significant ratings.

The series “Blame Yourself” (Kendi Düşen Ağlamaz) lost 0.66% in total ratings and 0.29% in AB. The summer romantic comedy cannot compete with shows from the main season, but it is not expected to. Most likely, the series will conclude by New Year when TRT1 channel will introduce a new show for the main season.
