Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Omer” showed a growth of 0.01% in total and 0.20% in AB. The writers have evidently discovered a new lease of life; the storyline has become more intriguing, and the appreciative audience, formed since the first season, did not hesitate to respond.

The series “Alparslan: The Great Seljuk” (Alparslan Büyük Selçuklu) grew by 0.56% in total but lost 0.05% in AB, concluding its run in Turkish broadcasting. The results of the finale were quite respectable, especially considering the significant time gap between the broadcast of the second season and the two final episodes.

The series “Sapphire” (Safir) experienced a decline of 0.39% in total and 0.45% in AB. Currently, the show’s writers struggle to maintain audience attention, quickly losing positions in the ratings. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence in Turkish serial production— a successful start doesn’t guarantee a successful continuation. With this dynamic, the project may last in the air until winter.

The series “Another Love” (Bambaşka Biri) lost 0.44% in total and 0.22% in AB. Despite successful international sales and nominations at prestigious festivals, the project by producer Timur Savci wasn’t highly appreciated in Turkey. Most likely, it will be moved to another broadcast day next month to free up Monday for more promising series from the channel’s perspective.
