Ratings of Turkish TV

The ratings for Monday brought a powerful start for the new series “Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (Salahaddin Ayyubi)” to the Turkish audience, performing strongly in all categories. However, this is not surprising, considering the highly relevant theme of the conquest of Jerusalem, and Turkish viewers traditionally have a great fondness for historical series. It remains to be seen whether the project by producer Emre Konuk will live up to the high expectations of the audience.

The series “Omer” experienced a 0.21% decrease in total ratings but grew by 0.30% in AB. It seems that the audience is quite favorably receiving the second season of the show, especially among educated viewers. It can be said that the writers have found a second wind.

The series “Sapphire (Safir)” saw an increase of 0.81% in total ratings and 0.68% in AB. This is excellent news for fans because ATV channel has two new series on the way. If the decline continues, the show may not stay on air for long. Therefore, the key for the creators is to retain their audience.

The series “Bambaşka Biri (Another Love)” experienced a 0.03% decrease in total ratings but grew by 0.14% in AB. The figures are somewhat disappointing, and the only hope now lies in strong international sales, which may help the show by producer Timur Savci stay on air until the New Year. However, considering the number of new series already in production, Fox TV has found a replacement for the show.
