Halit Ergenç and Tuba Büyüküstün have become co-stars in a new TV series
Great news for fans of Turkish series. Two wonderful actors, Halit Ergenç and Tuba Büyüküstün, will reunite on the set of the digital platform GAIN’s series.
According to the renowned journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Halit Ergenç and Tuba Büyüküstün will be partners in the TV show “As If Tomorrow Never Comes / Yarınlar Yokmuş Gibi.” The two stars will play the leading roles in the 4-episode series, produced by O3 Medya for the digital service Gain, known for its high-quality content.
Halit and Tuba will meet for the second time on set after the film “Red Istanbul” by Ferzan Özpetek in 2017. The director of the series will be Zeynep Günay. The script for the series was written by Ekin Atalar, inspired by the 2007 film “Interview,” starring Sienna Miller and Michael Buscemi. The film tells the story of a soap opera star and a journalist who comes to interview her.
After completing the filming of the series “As If Tomorrow Never Comes,” Halit Ergenç will take on the lead role in another digital series titled “Nameless Lovers / Adsız Aşıklar.”
