Birsen Altuntaş reports that Gökhan Alkan is set to broaden his creative horizons by participating in a musical for the first time. The actor is preparing to present a musical titled “Musical State of the Century.”

Under the direction of Gaye Cankaya and musical direction by Tuluğ Tırpan, this musical piece will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic. It will narrate stories and perform songs that have become iconic in Turkey from 1923 to 2023. The performances will take place at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center, where Gökhan Alkan will share the stage with Zeynep Salih, Ozge Borak, and Tansel Öngel. The premiere of the musical “Musical State of the Century” is scheduled for late January.
