Ratings of Turkish TV

The Wednesday ratings brought a new series, “Scent of the Trunk,” (Sandık Kokusu) to the Turkish audience, which started modestly but not disastrously. As always, the fate of the series will be determined by its subsequent dynamics, but there is hope for growth, and the overall chances for the new show on Show TV are quite good.

The series “The Ottoman (Kuruluş Osman)” grew by 1.10% in total and 1.64% in AB. Producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s show has remained one of the leaders in Turkish ratings for five years, undoubtedly an excellent result. As it approaches the finale in May-June next year, the series will confidently end without losing the viewers’ interest.

The series “My Wonderful Life (Şahane Hayatım)” lost 0.19% in total and 0.84% in AB. The audience for the show is still forming, and such fluctuations in viewership are quite normal, although it is unlikely to become a major hit. However, if the series by producer Kerem Çatay maintains ratings in the 4-5% range, it will be a very good outcome.

The series “Stone of Wishes (Dilek Taşı)” lost 0.26% in total and 0.30% in AB. Unfortunately, the show failed to meet the audience’s expectations and is losing viewers with each new episode. The possibility of a finale by the end of this year becomes increasingly realistic.
