Edip Zeydan in the Russian TV series ‘Princess of Mercy’

Edip Zeydan, familiar to viewers from the series “Resurrected Ertugrul,” will play a role in the Russian series “Princess of Mercy.” The TV show is produced by the Bravo Production Center for the Russian channel “Russia 1.”

The story is set in 1877-1878 and narrates the impressive events that took place during the Ottoman-Russian War. Edip will bring to life the character Engin, a high-ranking Ottoman officer who speaks five languages. The filming of the series by director Leonid Belozorovich will take place half in Russia and half in Turkey. Currently, shooting is underway in Kislovodsk.

The main roles in the series will be played by Denis Nurulin, Sofia Priss, Maria Poroshina, Alexander Baluyev, Dmitry Ulyanov, Aysun Gülten, Tolga Mendi, and others.
