Ratings of Turkish TV

The ratings for Friday introduced Turkish viewers to the new series “Ruthless (Gaddar),”. The first episode almost replicated the ratings of the first episode of Çagatay Ulusoy’s previous TV series, “Insider.” As known, the result of the first episode is not decisive; the future dynamics of the show will show everything. However, Fox TV’s decision to schedule the series produced by Ay Yapim’s Kerem Çatay on Friday turned out to be wise—it didn’t take the audience away from other projects but brought its own. Now we just have to wait to see if it will grow. All will be revealed in the second episode.

The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” lost 0.43% in total and 0.52% in AB. The fluctuations in ratings are within the normal range, and the appearance of a new competitor did not affect it, which is quite natural since the audience is completely different. Faruk Turgut’s show remains the leader on Fridays.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” grew by 0.23% in total but lost 1.60% in AB. Apparently, the loss of audience in AB is not due to the new competitor but rather the general disappointment of viewers with the script. They want to see more radical changes and complain that watching has become boring.

The series “Firebirds” grew by 0.02% in total and 0.47% in AB. Mehmet Bozdag’s show continues to firmly hold its, albeit small, audience, and it seems it will remain on the air until the end of the season.

The series “Enemy of Love (Aşka Düşman)” lost 0.85% in total and 0.72% in AB, which was expected. The show was moved to another day, and to the most competitive one. However, it no longer matters as they stopped shooting the project. The fourth episode will be the last, but it won’t be the finale; the series will be abruptly cut without continuation.
