Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Red Roses (Kızıl Goncalar)” increased by 0.95% in total viewership and by 2.83% in AB ratings. It seems that the scandal with the state censor RTÜK, which temporarily took the project off the air for two weeks, only fueled the curiosity of Turkish viewers, creating a kind of “Streisand effect.” However, both the storyline and the actors involved in the series give hope that it might become another hit, as Fox TV has been generous with such successes this season.

The series “Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (Salahaddin Ayyubi)” lost 0.07% in total viewership and 0.11% in AB ratings. The loss is insignificant, as the audience for the historical project by producer Emre Konuk has stabilized and is expected to fluctuate within these limits.

The series “Omer” lost 1% in total viewership and 1.02% in AB ratings. The loss is quite substantial and is likely due to competition with the series “Red Buds,” as the target audience for both projects is the same. The outcome of this race in the airwaves between the two series remains to be seen by the end of the season.

The series “Sapphire (Safir)” lost 1.07% in total viewership and 0.51% in AB ratings. The ATV channel’s project still hovers on the thin line between continuation and an early finale, but the poor AB ratings are causing concern even among the channel’s management. Nevertheless, ATV managers still prefer to focus on the total viewership, where the series doesn’t fare as badly.
