Ratings of Turkish TV
The ratings for Thursday brought Turkish viewers a new series, “Pearl Grains (İnci Taneleri),” which debuted strongly in the first place. However, Yılmaz Erdoğan, one of Turkey’s most beloved actors, directors, and screenwriters who has not appeared on television screens for over 20 years, coupled with Hazar Ergüçlü’s dance in teasers making a strong impression on viewers even before the show’s release, justifies the high ratings. Whether the project will maintain its claim to success will be revealed in the near future, but for now, its prospects look quite promising.
The series “Boundless Love (Hudutsuz Sevda)” lost 0.37% in total and 0.49% in AB. Considering the emergence of a strong competitor on Thursday, a slight decrease in ratings is not surprising, and overall, the position of the producer Fatih Aksoy’s series does not raise significant concerns.
The series “Betrayal (Aldatmak)” lost 0.41% in total and 0.36% in AB. The competition on Thursday has intensified, but the show by producer Timur Savcı has its loyal audience, so there is no imminent closure before the end of this season.
The series “Hide Me (Sakla Beni)” lost 1.12% in total and 1.14% in AB. The appearance of another powerful psychological drama on Thursday dealt a powerful blow to the show by producer Onur Güvenatam. However, OGM’s exclusive contract with Star TV means that a decline in ratings does not imply a swift finale; fans can remain calm.
The series “Kara” lost 0.60% in total and 0.77% in AB. The shift to a later time and the decision for an early closure of the series have definitively killed the audience’s interest, making the numbers look logical, although they evoke less pleasant feelings among the actors’ fans.
