Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” surged by 3.81% in total viewership and by 4.01% in AB. The show forcefully entered the top Turkish series of this season, once again confirming that the TV remote control firmly belongs to the female audience. The main goal for the scriptwriters is to retain the attention of female viewers in the coming weeks until a stable core audience is formed. There is a good storyline foundation for this – the series is based on a successful Korean drama.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” lost 0.30% in total viewership and 0.48% in AB. Considering the emergence of a powerful competitor, which attracted part of the audience, the decline is not as significant. However, the show’s scriptwriters will have to make a strong effort to convince the audience to continue watching.

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” lost 0.25% in total viewership and 1.17% in AB. The drop among educated and affluent audiences is quite unpleasant and may be related to viewers switching channels to check out the novelty everyone is talking about. It is quite possible that some of them will return next week.

The series “Before You (Senden Önce)” lost 0.90% in total viewership and 0.02% in AB. Unfortunately, such ratings have practically put an end to the prospects of the show in the Turkish airwaves. It will not be surprising to learn soon about the channel’s decision to cancel the series.
