Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” lost 0.33% in total but grew by 0.72% in AB. Small fluctuations in total audience at the start of the show amid very solid ratings are quite normal, and the growth in AB suggests that affluent and educated viewers highly appreciated this show. The main thing for the creators is not to lose what attracted viewers to watch: light storytelling, humor, and a touch of drama.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” lost 0.29% in total and 0.57% in AB. The consistent loss of audience is becoming a more serious signal for the creators of the show. With such low AB ratings, considering a second season is unlikely, but the series will likely finish this season without major issues, given its decent total rating.

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” lost 0.56% in total and 1.09% in AB. The loss in AB is quite significant; if the show cannot regain viewers in the near future, it will likely face its finale at the end of this season.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” lost 0.11% in total but grew by 0.08% in AB. Overall, this is a decent result for the second episode; however, even a slight loss of audience in the first few weeks of airing raises serious concerns about the fate of the show. Of course, the state channel will give the series enough time to attract viewers, but the project must show steady, albeit slight, growth to stay on air for long.
