The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” experienced a decrease of 0.76% in total ratings and 0.92% in AB. Considering that the Holy month of Ramadan begins tomorrow evening, the decline in ratings for almost all series is quite predictable and will not significantly affect their future. With such resilience, the show of producer Faruk Turgut is already preparing for its third season. It’s worth noting that the second season will conclude on June 7th.
The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” lost 0.76% in total ratings and 0.77% in AB. Although the decline in ratings before religious holidays is expected, the fact that viewers have been leaving for quite some time and the ratings have significantly decreased compared to the first season raises the inevitable question – is a third season necessary, or is it better to stop in time?
The series “No mercy (Gaddar)” experienced a decrease of 0.74% in total ratings and 0.40% in AB. Considering the religious holidays, the loss of audience is quite predictable. However, many viewers are dissatisfied with the script, which instead of action, focused on a love triangle. The scriptwriters’ loss of direction, leading them to “enter one room and exit another,” could end badly. Nevertheless, such twists are unfortunately not uncommon in Turkish drama.
The series “Firebirds (Ateş Kuşları)” grew by 0.04% in total ratings and by 0.56% in AB. Producer Mehmet Bozdag’s show is holding up quite well, especially against the backdrop of competitors’ audience reduction on Fridays, and will continue until the end of the season despite all pessimistic forecasts.
The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” experienced a decrease of 0.57% in total ratings and 0.06% in AB. Considering that the state channel has the most traditional audience, the decline in ratings before a religious holiday is quite natural and does not raise concerns about the show’s future.
