The ratings for Saturday, March 9th, 2024, introduced two new series to Turkish viewers, both of which had rather modest debuts.

The series “Don’t Be Afraid, I’m With You (Korkma Ben Yanındayım)” had a weak start in both categories. However, as we know, the figures from the first episode do not determine much; the decisive factor will be the show’s dynamics. Nevertheless, the idea of starting right before the Holy month of Ramadan is not the best.

The series “The Next Room (Yan Oda)” didn’t make much of an impression on Turkish viewers, despite being produced by the reputable production company OGM Pictures, known for its major hits, and having the renowned screenwriter Baris Gungor. It seems that the attempt to split focus (the screenwriter is also working on “Golden Boy”) didn’t lead to anything positive. However, as always, the future dynamics will reveal the true outcome.

The series “Mountain of Hearts (Gönül Dağı)” experienced a decrease of 0.82% in total ratings and 1.46% in AB. However, considering that the Holy month of Ramadan begins tonight, the decline in audience is quite expected and doesn’t raise significant concerns. The state channel’s show remains one of the most popular series on Turkish television and confidently moves towards a new season.

The series “For my family (Kardeşlerim)” lost 0.64% in total ratings and 1.05% in AB. The decline is quite unpleasant, but with two new releases on Saturday and the upcoming religious holidays, it was expected. The fate of the series will depend on how the audience behaves in the spring; if it remains stable, albeit small, a renewal for a fifth season is quite possible.

The series “Three Sisters (Üç Kız Kardeş)” experienced a decrease of 0.41% in total ratings but grew by 0.01% in AB. However, this is inconsequential; with such ratings, the show on Kanal D will not proceed to a fourth season. Nonetheless, this season will conclude as scheduled, so fans of the series can simply relax and enjoy their beloved characters before bidding them farewell.
