Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” increased by 0.47% in total and 0.72% in AB. Show TV’s series continues to demonstrate excellent results on Turkish television, which experts haven’t seen in a long time, bringing joy. Finally, after the difficult COVID period, Turkish series have reclaimed their audience, despite fierce competition from digital platforms. The AB numbers are particularly encouraging, considering that this audience typically prefers platforms.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” increased by 0.19% in total and 0.97% in AB. The fate of the show is not entirely clear at the moment. Whether it will continue to the next season will depend on its performance in the coming month to month and a half, and with such competition on Tuesdays, when Turkey’s most popular series is airing, it will be quite challenging.

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” increased by 0.21% in total but decreased by 0.02% in AB. The show is stable but doesn’t show high numbers. With such dynamics, it’s unlikely to proceed to a third season.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” decreased by 0.32% in total but increased by 0.05% in AB. Considering that the show airs on the state channel, these figures are likely sufficient for the series to be renewed for a second season. Recall that TRT1’s biggest historical hit “Resurrection: Ertugrul” also didn’t show significant results in the first season, only picking up in the second season, so all is not lost yet.
