Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” lost 1.25% in total and 1.18% in AB. After a rapid rise, there is always a certain correction in ratings, so such a decline is quite normal and does not raise any particular questions. The show continues to be the most popular series on Turkish television and confidently looks towards the future.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” grew by 0.79% in total but lost 0.52% in AB. The preferences of the average viewer and the AB category are increasingly diverging, and the future of Fox TV’s show is not entirely clear. What will be more significant for the channel – the interest of ordinary viewers or the disappointment of the wealthy and educated category?

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” lost 0.02% in total but grew by 0.56% in AB. The show on ATV has too low results to go to the next season, but it will reach the end of this season without any major problems.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” lost 0.23% in total and 0.49% in AB. It seems that there is a real curse hanging over the series dedicated to one of the most significant sultans of the Ottoman Empire – none of the shows managed to captivate the Turkish audience, although the Netflix digital series proved to be successful. Perhaps it’s worth trying a new story with Sultan Suleiman? After all, two series dedicated to this sultan turned out to be the biggest hits of Turkish TV over the past 20 years.
