Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Bahar” grew by 0.34% in total and by 0.57% in AB. After the holidays, producer Fatih Aksoy’s show continued its triumphant ascent to the top of Turkish ratings, remaining the most popular series in Turkey at the moment. The only concern for fans is whether the writers can maintain the high standard when the Korean original ends and whether the story will slide into the traditional tragedy, which Turkish scriptwriters love so much.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” grew by 0.61% in total and by 1.60% in AB. The ratings for the state channel’s show are not as high as desired, but the trend is encouraging. There is hope that the series will go on for a second season. Thus, an increase in the audience is quite possible if the writers find the right approach to the viewers. After all, the previous super hit of the channel, “Resurrection: Ertugrul,” also started modestly and only gained an audience in the second season.

The series “I Can’t Fit into This World (Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam)” lost 0.38% in total and 0.06% in AB. It should be noted that ATV channel has not yet decided whether the series will continue for another season or will end, but with this trend, a third season is unlikely.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” lost 0.39% in total but grew by 0.39% in AB. Currently, the ratings of the NOW channel’s show are disappointing. If the dynamics do not change, the series will likely end by the end of the season.
