The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” increased by 1.80% in total and by 2.20% in AB. The show’s screenwriters have turned what was essentially a mundane family story into a gripping drama that has captivated viewers and adds tension with each new episode. It’s no wonder that the series is one of the most-watched projects on Turkish screens, and confidently heads into its third season.
The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” grew by 0.87% in total and by 1.50% in AB. The show’s screenwriters employ quite commonplace tactics involving kidnappings and deadly threats to the main characters, which invariably pique the audience’s interest. However, for the story to continue, something more serious and sustainable is needed; viewers are fickle, and the third season promises to be a big test for the project’s durability.
The series “No mercy (Gaddar)” lost 0.39% in total and 0.06% in AB. The show’s screenwriters have clearly lost inspiration and are writing the story on autopilot, particularly unconcerned about whether the plot is interesting, relying on the assumption that well-known actors will “carry” the ratings. For now, the audience remains tuned in for their beloved stars, but producer Kerem Çatay clearly needs to reconsider his approach to selecting screenwriters.
The series “Firebirds (Ateş Kuşları)” grew by 0.43% in total and 0.68% in AB. With these ratings, producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s show is unlikely to go to the next season. However, it will finish this season quite successfully, wrapping up with a full finale in late May to early June.
The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” lost 0.11% in total and grew by 0.22% in AB. Despite the modest ratings, the show continues to stay on the air as TRT1 channel management is not inclined to hasty decisions and allows its series to run until the end of the season even with modest ratings, which is commendable.
