According to Birsen Altuner, the legendary novel “Madonna in a Fur Coat” by Sabahattin Ali will finally become a digital series, jointly produced by filmmakers from Germany and Turkey. The companies CAB Film (Germany) and Fikri Harika Prodüksiyon (Turkey) have begun preparations for the shoot, which will take place in both countries. The German portion of the filming will be undertaken by the Babelsberg studio, known for projects such as “The Matrix,” “John Wick,” and “Babylon.” Enes Ateş will direct the project. Negotiations are underway with digital platforms for the sale of broadcasting rights.
