Ratings of Turkish TV

The TV series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” experienced a slight decline of 0.05% in total viewership but saw an increase of 1.27% in the AB demographic. The show, produced by Faruk Turgut, remains one of the most sought-after series on Turkish television and is approaching the end of its second season in early June with ratings befitting a super hit. Interestingly, the series had a rather modest beginning, which once again proves that it is premature to draw conclusions about the potential of any project, as scriptwriters can always bring pleasant surprises.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” lost 0.53% in total viewership but grew by 0.08% in the AB demographic. The show, produced by Onur Güvenatam, is struggling to retain its audience, which, however, is becoming increasingly disappointed with the story that has lost its former lightness. The scriptwriters will have to work hard on the third season’s script to prevent it from becoming a complete disappointment.

The series “No mercy (Gaddar)” increased by 0.07% in total viewership but lost 0.08% in the AB demographic. The show, produced by Kerem Çatay, has not become a big hit but has its dedicated audience and good international sales. It is already known that the series will conclude with its 20th episode at the beginning of June.

The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” increased by 0.46% in total viewership and by 0.09% in the AB demographic. Although the ratings are not particularly impressive, the management of the TRT1 channel has decided to renew the series for the next season.

The series “Firebirds (Ateş Kuşları)” lost 0.10% in total viewership but increased by 0.64% in the AB demographic. The last episode has already been shot, the team has finished working on the show and said their touching goodbyes to each other. The series did not become a hit but will be remembered as a pleasant project with good acting performances.
