Ratings of Turkish TV

TV series ‘Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)’ saw an increase of 0.86% in total viewership and 1.27% in the AB demographic. There’s nothing surprising in such a rise, considering that the state channel’s project was the only one broadcasted, as the two main competitors did not air. This also hints that the decision of channels to abandon the practice of showing 7 series a week could lead to increased ratings for the surviving shows and could generally have a positive impact on the industry.
