Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Mountain of Hearts (Gönül Dağı)” lost 0.80% in total viewership but gained 0.27% in the AB demographic. The show from the state channel TRT1 has been in the top 3 most popular series in Turkey for four consecutive years and has easily been greenlit for the next season, which may not be its last.

The series “For my family (Kardeşlerim)” grew by 0.38% in total viewership and by 0.28% in the AB demographic. The numbers are stable enough for the channel to renew the show for the next season. However, this does not mean the series couldn’t be canceled in the fall if viewers lose interest. The battle for a spot in the broadcast schedule next season will be challenging.

The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” grew by 0.74% in total viewership but lost 0.66% in the AB demographic. It should be noted that the channel NOW has not yet made a final decision on renewing the series; everything depends on the ratings, which show divergent trends. The channel’s management will soon decide what is more important – the rising total viewership or the falling AB demographic.
