Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” lost 0.64% in total and 0.94% in AB. As summer approaches, it’s quite normal for ratings of almost all Turkish series to gradually decline, which is why Turkish television takes a break for the summer television season. Nevertheless, despite the reduction in audience, producer Faruk Turgut’s show remains one of the most popular series on Turkish air and is confidently heading into its third season.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” lost 0.02% in total and 0.63% in AB. The drop in total is insignificant, however, the AB audience is gradually becoming disappointed with the script, and the creators of the series will have to work hard this summer to offer viewers a story that will bring back their interest in what’s happening on screen.

The series “No mercy (Gaddar)” lost 0.23% in total and 0.60% in AB. However, this no longer matters, as producer Kerem Çatay’s show will conclude after three more episodes. Moreover, successful sales abroad make it quite profitable for the Ay Yapim company. It should be noted that this is becoming increasingly common – the company holds the record for the number of successfully sold series.

The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” lost 0.08% in total and 0.04% in AB. Despite its rather modest ratings, the TRT1 channel has decided to renew the series for a second season, which is not surprising – state funding allows the channel to keep even low-rated series on the air.
