Bergüzar Korel has been offered a role in the series “My Mother from Ankara” (Annem Ankara).

After giving birth to her daughter Leyla, Bergüzar Korel reconnected with audiences on Amazon Prime Video in the digital series “The Knot.” The renowned actress is considering offers received before the season. Bergüzar has been approached to star in one of the season’s most ambitious projects – the series “My Mother from Ankara,” which BKM will produce for Kanal D.

The series is scripted by Başak Angigün, inspired by the real-life story of her own mother Zuhal Angigün, who had to fight hard for her children. If Bergüzar Korel accepts the offer, she will portray the self-sacrificing mother in the series, directed by Faruk Teber.
