Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “The Ottoman (Kuruluş Osman)” lost 0.96% in total viewership and 0.13% in the AB demographic. Producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s show remains one of the most demanded series on Turkish airwaves and will go on a summer break with quite decent figures. The drop in ratings during the summer is quite expected and happens every year, so it will not affect the future of the project.

The series “Scent of the Trunk (Sandık Kokusu)” lost 0.73% in total viewership and 0.66% in the AB demographic. It is not entirely clear whether the drop is related to the summer decrease in audience, or if viewers were displeased with the departure of the main character. We will find out this fall when the Show TV show returns to the air.

The series “My Wonderful Life (Şahane Hayatım)” made its finale, losing 0.25% in total viewership but gaining 0.05% in the AB demographic. Producer Kerem Çatay’s show did not become a big hit, however, it ended its broadcast with a decent result and sells well abroad.

The series “Remember (Taş Kağıt Makas)” made its season finale, losing 0.78% in total viewership and 1.03% in the AB demographic. Whether the Kanal D show can win over the capricious Turkish audience in the new season we will find out this fall, for now, its figures are more than modest but not entirely disastrous.
