“Poverty”: new project from the creators of “Golden Boy”

OGM Pictures, the company behind the third season of the series “Golden boy” (Yalı Çapkını), is preparing a new series under the working title “Yoksulluk” (Poverty). Birsen Altuntaş claims that OGM Pictures is continuing its collaboration with Star TV in the new season. In addition to the series “Kral Kaybederse” (If the King Loses) proposed to Halit Ergenç, active work is being done on the project “Yoksulluk” (Poverty).

The plot of “Yoksulluk” (Poverty) will tell the story of six orphaned children fighting for survival in Istanbul. Cem Karcı, known for his work on the series “Ömer” and “The Tailor”, has been invited to direct. It has been revealed that the film “Crabby Virgin” (Huysuz Virjin) starring Salih Bademci, which Karcı planned to shoot this summer, has been postponed to next year.
