First Reading and Preparations for Filming: What to Expect from the Series “Life Thief”

Preparation has begun in Turkey for the filming of the series “Life Thief,” an adaptation of the Brazilian series “Avenida Brasil.” The show is directed by Hilal Saral, with the script written by Aybike Ertürk.

The first script reading took place yesterday. The main roles will be played by Cemre Baysel (Leyla/Leylim), Alperen Duymaz (Civan), Gonca Vuslateri (Nur), Halil İbrahim Ceyhan (Tufo), Yiğit Kirazcı (Mali), Cengiz Bozkurt (Selman), Meltem Baytok (Hatice), Zeyno Eracar (Güzide), Gamze Karaduman (Ferda), Dilara Aksüyek (Serap), and Mustafa Avkıran (Neko).

Uğur Aslan has been cast as Hilmi. The series will also see the debut of Ceylin Kahya, a graduate of the Istanbul University Acting Faculty, who will play Kader, a maid in Nur’s house.
