Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler will play the leading roles in the series “Exiles” (Sürgünler), which will soon be released on the digital platform Tabii. The director is Barış Erçetin.

Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler will portray the characters Halil and Meryem, whose paths cross in prison. The cruel prison warden, Vural, will be played by Serdar Orçin. The original story of the series is written by Selen Mert Taşkın, with the screenplay by Volkan Sümbül.

The plot of the series unfolds during World War II. Halil, the heir of a powerful clan, ends up in Sinop Prison as a result of a conspiracy. He seeks to escape to uncover the truth and seek revenge. His encounter with Dr. Meryem, who works in the prison, complicates the situation.
