The series “Poverty” (“Yoksulluk”), produced by OGM Pictures for Star TV, will tell the story of six orphaned siblings in Istanbul. The main roles will be played by Hazal Subaşı (“Azize”) and Kaan Miraç Sezen (“Cemo”). Ece Bağcı will play Fidan. The cast also includes Turgut Tuncalp, Enes Koçak, and Sacide Taşaner. The first episode will be filmed in İznik. The plot includes the story of teacher Rıfat and his family, who live in the forest and sell honey. After 20 years, their lives change dramatically.

Actress and singer Öykü Gürman has landed the role of Kiraz in the series “Mountain of the Heart.” She will arrive in the village of Gedelli as a driver. Filming for the fifth season of the popular TRT1 project began last week. The new season will start in September with the 143rd episode.

Channel D is preparing the second season of the series “Rock, Paper, Scissors.” The project will continue to air on Wednesdays. New faces will join the cast: Hande Doğandemir as lawyer Güneş, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu as mafia member Marco, and Berk Bakioğlu as prosecutor Arhan. Uraz is a guest star for four episodes.

Adnan Biricik will join the cast of the series “Intelligence” as Hamdi. Filming for the new season, produced by Tims&B, is scheduled for Tuesday. The fifth season will introduce a new main character—Captain Altay, played by Tolga Sarıtaş. The plot will continue to explore the work of the intelligence service. New characters, including antagonists, are expected. Hamdi, played by Biricik, will meet Korkut in a Bulgarian prison.
