The production company OGM Pictures is preparing a new large-scale project, “Şehrazad,” for the Star TV channel. In the upcoming television season, alongside the continuation of the series “Golden Boy” and the new series “Poverty,” OGM plans to film the projects “If the King Loses” and “Şehrazad.” The agreement between OGM Pictures and Star TV remains in effect.

If no changes occur, filming for the third season of “Golden Boy” will begin this month, with the premiere scheduled for September 13. Following that, production will commence for the series “Poverty,” directed by Cem Karcı. Afterward, the Taylan brothers will start working on the show “If the King Loses,” featuring Halit Ergenç. Simultaneously, preparations are underway for the filming of “Şehrazad.”

“Şehrazad” is an adaptation of a popular Iranian series, the rights to which were acquired by OGM Pictures. The setting will be relocated to Turkey. The plot will tell a love story unfolding in the 1980s. The main character, Şehrazad, a medical student, will face the need to make significant sacrifices to save her beloved, Ferhat.
