Film “Hear Me” Canceled: Why Did the Creators Choose “Sınav”?
The project to adapt the series “Hear Me” (Duy Beni) into a film has been canceled. Instead, production has begun on the movie “Sınav.”
Initially, there were plans to create a feature-length version of the series “Hear Me” (Duy Beni), which aired on Star TV. Gökçen Usta was slated to direct, and negotiations were underway with actors, including some from the original series. However, this idea was eventually abandoned.
In place of “Hear Me” (Duy Beni), the decision was made to film a sequel to “Sınav.” The original 2006 movie was screened in theaters for 31 weeks, attracting an audience of 1,161,226 viewers.
The new film will focus on the now-adult characters from the first installment and their children. The cast includes Güven Kıraç, Ayda Aksel, Zafer Algöz, Tuba Büyüküstün, Rüya Önal, İsmail Hacıoğlu, Caner Özyurtlu, Okan Bayülgen, Yağmur Atacan, and Jean-Claude Van Damme. The production is being handled by BG Film and Böcek Films Entertainment.
