The Friday ratings brought the return of several beloved TV series, which will continue to delight viewers with their captivating stories in the new season.
The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” made a strong start in both categories, showing that the Gold Film production is not ready to relinquish its top spot to anyone. It seems that women-centered stories will continue to hold a special place in viewers’ hearts this season, and Friday remains one of the most competitive days of the week.
The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” returned with a fairly decent result in the total category, but the lukewarm interest in the third season among the AB demographic is concerning. Nevertheless, the screenwriters may still manage to captivate the audience with a fresh storyline. The fate of the series will depend on its future performance.
The series “Bad Blood” lost 1% in the total category and 0.78% in AB. The status of this new TV show can be summed up in one word: “disaster.” With such ratings on NOW, a channel with several dozen new series in the pipeline, it’s unlikely to survive for long. It seems the show’s fate is sealed – it will remain on air for just two more episodes, as was announced back in the spring. Failed series on this channel are wrapped up by the fourth episode, assuming the network has a replacement ready.
The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” had a noticeably weak start. However, since it airs on a state-run TV channel, low ratings don’t necessarily mean immediate cancellation. Most likely, the series will stay on the air until the New Year, but it’s possible it could run for an entire season.
