Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” lost 0.56% in total and 1.20% in AB. The decline is rather unpleasant, but at the beginning of the season, all past achievements seem to be reset, and once again, the TV shows must prove to Turkish viewers that they are worthy of the time spent watching them. The battle ahead will be tough, and there is hope that the series’ writers will endure it with dignity.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” lost 0.17% in total and 0.25% in AB. The decline is small, but still troubling, considering that the entire second season failed to halt this trend, and it seems viewers were not convinced it was worth the effort. The first episode disappointed many. Whether the new writers can deal with the impending catastrophe remains to be seen in the coming weeks.

The series “Bad Blood” grew by 0.19% in total and 0.47% in AB. The show is fiercely resisting, though rumors suggest that the management of NOW TV is already prepared to abandon it. The next two episodes will be decisive for the future of the show.

The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” grew by 0.12% in total but lost 0.14% in AB. The numbers are disappointing, but the state-run channel provides a sense of security for the future. The show will stay on air until the New Year, regardless of the situation, and after that, TRT1 will decide its fate depending on whether they have new series to replace it.
