Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Leyla” saw a rise of 0.16% in total viewership and 0.52% in the AB demographic. Produced by Ay Yapim, the show is maintaining a solid performance on air, and it is unlikely that next week’s premiere of one of Turkish television’s top contenders, “Kuruluş: Osman”, will impact its ratings. The audiences for the two shows are simply too different. The main issue facing Turkish TV series production, namely script quality, is being successfully addressed by the adaptation of a Brazilian original, while the superb filming quality and excellent cast further bolster the series’ success.

The series “Scent of the Trunk (Sandık Kokusu)” lost 0.69% in total viewership and 0.12% in AB. Unfortunately, the creators of the show have yet to convince viewers to continue watching it this season. Should the audience’s disappointment persist, the series may come to a swift end. However, given that Show TV doesn’t have as many new shows as its competitors, there might still be a chance to conclude the story in a more coherent way.

The series “Remember (Taş Kağıt Makas)” experienced a 0.32% drop in total viewership and a 0.45% decrease in AB. The Kanal D show started with disappointing numbers and has yet to overcome the audience’s skepticism. With this season promising fierce competition, it seems unlikely that the series will remain on air for much longer with such ratings.
