Ratings of Turkish TV
The series “The Ottoman (Kuruluş Osman)” rose by 0.80% in Total and 0.71% in AB. The historical show by producer Mehmet Bozdağ remains popular with Turkish audiences, who have been following the story of the founder of the Ottoman Empire with great interest for six years. Although the ratings have dropped compared to the earlier seasons, they remain solid and fully satisfy ATV. The only concern for fans is whether the continuation of the story about Sultan Orhan will be as successful as its predecessors.
The series “Leyla” saw an increase of 0.12% in Total and 0.65% in AB. While the growth is small, it is very steady, indicating increasing interest from the Turkish audience. The excellent script, based on the original Brazilian version, has allowed the creators of the Turkish adaptation to offer a high-quality product, which seems likely to stay on air for a long time.
The series “Scent of the Trunk (Sandık Kokusu)” grew by 0.01% in Total and 1.07% in AB. This significant growth in AB helped the creators overcome a serious crisis that had brought the series to the brink of cancellation. It remains to be seen whether the writers can maintain the high standard and deliver what the viewers want.
The series “Remember (Taş Kağıt Makas)” lost 0.13% in Total and 0.39% in AB. Kanal D’s show failed to capture viewers’ attention in its second season, leading to an inevitable conclusion—the production team has already received the script for the final episode, which will air next week.
