Producer of Luxe Vide, Luca Bernabei, in an interview with Deadline, discussed the importance of reducing costs during the production of the series “Costiera” starring Jesse Williams and “Sandokan” featuring Can Yaman, given the challenging financial market. According to him, European producers have long been accustomed to working with limited budgets, and American buyers now seek their advice on cost-cutting measures. Lux Vide employed significant technical tricks to reduce expenses on ship and sea scenes, and filming took place in Calabria to benefit from regional grants. Bernabei noted, “We didn’t have enough funds, so we had to cut the budget and find a way to ‘put the money on screen.'”
