Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Intelligence (Teşkilat)” dropped by 0.05% in Total Viewership and by 1.22% in the AB demographic. The significant decline in the AB category is not particularly surprising, given that the tastes of affluent and educated viewers tend to shift quickly. The primary point is that the general audience continues to enjoy watching this popular show. This is especially important for the audience of a state-run channel, which traditionally prioritizes Total Viewership.

The series “Genius (Deha)” saw an increase of 0.84% in Total Viewership and 0.25% in the AB demographic. This show by producer Kerem Catay is steadily gaining viewership, becoming increasingly influential in Turkish ratings. As has been noted repeatedly, the initial numbers are less important than the subsequent trend, and the trajectory for this TV show is clearly favorable.

The series “Dirty Basket (Kirli Sepeti)” increased by 0.03% in Total Viewership and by 0.10% in the AB demographic. However, this growth is largely moot, as the show by producer Fatih Aksoy is set to conclude next Sunday. The second season proved very brief, and despite strong ratings in Total Viewership, the channel NOW decided it was unsatisfied with the low AB figures.
