The Off-Broadway musical of 2002 is set to premiere on the Turkish stage. The play “The Route Recalculated” will be performed at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum on December 5-6. The lead roles are played by Pelin Akil and Mehmet Aykaç, with Kayhan Berkin directing. The unique feature of the musical, based on the music of Jason Robert Brown, is its unconventional storytelling of the love story between Melek and Jamie: he tells it from the beginning, while she narrates it from the end.
