Ratings of Turkish TV

The Wednesday ratings brought Turkish viewers a new series, “Orphans (Sahipsizler),” which premiered with moderate numbers in Total and performed poorly in the AB demographic. However, the rating of the first episode does not preclude the show’s potential; many successful series have started with very low figures, and future results will reveal its true trajectory.

The series “The Ottoman (Kuruluş Osman)” saw a 0.31% increase in Total but lost 0.14% in AB. Produced by Mehmet Bozdağ, this project remains one of the most in-demand programs on Turkish television and is likely to complete its journey respectably by summer next year.

The series “Leyla” lost 0.34% in Total and 0.13% in AB. These slight audience fluctuations do not threaten the future of this successful Ay Yapim production, which continues to attract viewers with its cohesive storyline. Much of the credit goes to the writers, who respectfully adapt the original work on which the series is based.

The series “Scent of the Trunk (Sandık Kokusu)” dropped by 0.30% in Total but rose by 0.66% in AB. Overall, the show maintains fairly stable, if modest, ratings and will likely continue through the New Year. However, whether it will stay on air through the winter remains uncertain.
