The BKM production company is beginning work on its third television project for Kanal D, titled “Above the Clouds.” The company’s portfolio already includes “Pearl Grains” and “My Mother Ankara.” The project is described as one of BKM’s most significant works. Soner Caner, who previously directed the film “Mavi Kuş” starring Aslıhan Malbora and Aytaç Şaşmaz, will helm the new series set in the Black Sea region. Birsen Altuntaş strongly reacted to rumors that Yağmur Yüksel might become Çağatay Ulusoy’s co-star in the series “Esref’s Dream,” writing a brief tweet:
“False information about Yağmur Yüksel is being spread online to increase followers and broaden the audience of the account sharing it. Many are willing to do anything for attention. The nature of today’s media landscape allows anyone to create an account and call themselves a member of the journalism community.”
This season, Çağatay Ulusoy declined offers for three projects, choosing instead to star in “Esref’s Dream.” The rejected projects included:
– The TV series “Love in the Days of Occupation,” produced by Ay Yapım
– The TV series “The Successor,” produced by OGM
– The crime series “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul,” produced by Mehmet Bozdağ
